5 things to do with an extra hour of light
For someone who does not get jet-lagged (I am not kidding), Daylight savings has a weird way of throwing me off. I think that with travel, everything is always changing so I just adapt without a second thought whereas at home there is some normality so changes are more obvious. Point aside, I do love daylight savings - my days don't feel nearly as rushed as they do in the winter when I have to cram in a bunch of outdoor activities into a short window of light. Here are 5 things you can do with your extra hour....
- Go to the park // I have never been one to just go to the park to throw a ball but now that I live super close to the park I skate down there and chuck the ball occasionally in the evenings. I love it, it is a really nice way to close out the day with friends and good light. If ball sports aren't your thing, may a frisbee or Kubb.
- Take a walk - I love my walks. And podcasts! :)
- Plant a garden - I travel too much to maintain a proper garden but I do have quite a few plants and they make me so happy! (Let's just pretend my garden looks this good!)
I'm refreshed and inspired after a long break from Instagram. I celebrated the holidays with my friends and family, went to NYC and California andddd moved into a new ? - all in this past month. I'm SO excited to get this new year rolling with lots of cool projects on the horizon. How amazing is this window display from my recent trip to NYC?! ?????? #NYC
- Dinner Picnic - Grab a big blanket and bring dinner or take out to the park.
