I've spent most of my life in motion.

I grew up as a competitive swimmer before eventually finding my way to soccer, softball, water polo, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, and finally mountain biking. Looking back, I don't think I was ever searching for one sport. I was just happiest moving, exploring, and being part of a community.

That same curiosity shaped how I approached school, too. I attended the International Community School, a public magnet school built around global awareness and community leadership, before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and later a diploma in Destination Resort Management from Capilano University in British Columbia. Those experiences shaped the way I see the world just as much as anything I learned on a bike.

Over the past twenty years, that combination of movement and curiosity has taken me around the world as a professional athlete, writer, storyteller, event producer, commentator, creator, and community builder. Along the way, I became the 2010 Pan American Champion and 2012 US Grand Prix Champion, traveled to more than 50 countries and all 50 U.S. states, ran the New York City Marathon, circled the world by boat, learned to backflip, and somehow jumped a mountain bike over a trophy truck on live television.

As fun as those moments were, they're not what I'm proudest of.

The work that has stayed with me has always been about creating opportunities for other people.

That led me to co-create Red Bull Formation, a women's freeride event that helped push the sport forward and ultimately contributed to the first women's category at Red Bull Rampage after more than twenty years of exclusion. Formation also helped create some of the biggest media moments women's mountain biking had ever seen and contributed to a 400% increase in single-event prize money for women. In recognition of that work, Escape Collective named me one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Cycling.

Along the way, I've also co-founded the Grow Cycling Foundation, hosted and commentated for Pinkbike, NSMB, and Freecaster, judged Crankworx Deep Summer, spent years digging at Red Bull Rampage, and worked alongside athletes, brands, tourism boards, and communities around the world.

Today, my work sits at the intersection of sport, storytelling, travel, culture, media, and human connection.

Whether I'm writing an essay, making a film, producing an event, consulting with a brand, or leading a trip, I'm usually trying to do the same thing: bring interesting people together, tell meaningful stories, celebrate remarkable places, and hopefully leave things a little better than I found them.

Sports have taken me all over the world. But the best thing they've ever given me is the people.
